Making Room for All: A National Conference
Save the date for Room for All's first national conference. It's going to be held from October 29-31, 2009 in Grand Rapids, MI. This conference aims to equip members of the RCA to grow the welcoming and affirming movement throughout our denomination.
Workshop topics for the conference include:
* Becoming a Welcoming and Affirming Congregation
* Strategic Story Telling
* Movement Building Strategies
* Issues of Diversity & Intersecting Oppressions
* Ministry with LGBT Members and Their Families
* Christian Education and Youth Ministry That are Welcoming and Affirming
We'll learn from some wonderful people: Dr. David Myers, Rev. Rebecca Voelkel, Vicki Wunsch, Rev. Bruce Cornwell, and Rev. Adriene Thorne.

New Song in Honor of Room for All
Lorraine Nelson Wolf, a gifted church musician has written a song in honor of the work that Room for All is doing. Lorraine is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music and serves as director, organist, and a worship leader at Hopewell Reformed Church in Hopewell Junction, New York.
