Jeremy Simpson is a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a rich background in spiritual leadership, community engagement, and organizational development. He earned a Master of Arts from Western Theological Seminary and a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
Jeremy has significant experience as a minister and church planter, as well as serving as a music educator. He is also the founder of The Belonging Collective, which focuses on fostering inclusive environments. His leadership roles included serving as the Executive Director of the Wesley Foundation, Campus Minister at Western Michigan University, and Director of Diversity and Belonging for the Reformed Church in America.
His work is informed by his commitment to social justice and the arts, focusing on creating inclusive spaces that support the growth of all individuals. Currently he is the Director of Admissions and recruitment for Bexley Seabury Seminary based in Chicago. A lifelong musician, originally from West Michigan, he has contributed to nonprofits and educational institutions in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and the greater New York City area. Currently, he resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his son and daughter.
