It’s here!  Another “Building an Inclusive Church” training event – Thursday, April 12, 1 pm- Saturday, April 14, 12 pm. at First Reformed Church of New Brunswick (NJ)
Co-sponsored by Room for All (RCA), More Light Presbyterians (PCUSA) and Lutherans Concerned (ELCA) in cooperation with The Institute for Welcoming Resources. For information and to register: Welcoming Resources

Dear RfA Friends:
We know that you support LGBT inclusion, but is your congregation there? Are you looking for ways to graciously engage others in this important ministry? We are very pleased to confirm the details for another BIC training workshop, designed to explore how your church can more fully welcome persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities who seek a life of faith in your community. Whatever your congregational climate may be in regard to LGBT inclusion — from “no conversation,” to beginning a process, to wanting to build on an already-welcoming ministry — we believe that the Spirit is working through your commitment. At this workshop, you will gain insight and skills for that journey, in the company of like-minded people of faith. We are grateful to our sisters and brothers at First Reformed Church, New Brunswick (a “Room for All Church”) for offering their hospitality for this event.   Due to special circumstances, this event has just come together, and we are able to offer it for only $25.  But you only have a month to register, so don’t delay.

If you can’t make it, there are other BIC trainings in the planning stages in Oakland, NJ (Sept. 13-15), Grand Rapids, MI and in the Pella, IA area.  We’ll share details as soon as they’re available!
