Every year, the weeks ahead of Christmas are filled with eager anticipation, and the traditions that we keep and create. One such tradition that extends through the wintertime in my family is feeding and watching out for the birds that come to visit us here in the Northeast. The simple wonders are often the sweetest!
This Advent season, as we look for hope, peace, joy and love around us, we’re happy to share the SALT Project’s Advent Devotional The Dawn Chorus with our Room for All friends and family. For each week of the Advent season, there will be an opportunity to gather and discuss via Zoom on Tuesdays at 12 pm EST, starting November 29th. Even if you can’t join those discussions, we’re happy to share the guide with you, so you can explore it with your family and friends through the season. You can sign up here to be sent the guide as well as the Zoom link for those weekly meetings.
Based on the theme of birds, each week includes a simple candlelight service, some bird-related facts, conversation starters, ideas for service and acts of kindness and a simple bird ornament to cut out and decorate your tree or home with. We’re looking forward to sharing and reflecting with you!
